Mountain Lodge and Campsite Fee Standards


I.     Fee standards for the Office""s Mountain Beidawu National Trail Kuaigu Inn and Campsite are set in accordance with the provisions of the Principles Governing Income from State-owned Public Property.

II.  Kuaigu Inn Fee Criteria:
Holidays: NT$300 fee charged per person per night
(fees charged for Fridays, Saturdays and the day before the last day of holiday periods)
Weekdays: NT$250 fee charged per person per night
(Non-holidays)

III.     Fee Standards for Kuaigu Inn Campsite:
NT$400 fee charged per person per camp space, with no difference between holidays and weekdays

IV.     Refund Regulations for Application Cancellations and Reduction of Bed Reservations
Single day accommodation, starting from the day of stay
Multiple day accommodation, starting from the first day
Not refundable
Within seven to four days of stay, 50% is refunded
Eight days or more prior to stay, full amount is refunded
Cancellations of reserved beds should be made by the applicant by logging in to our website (on the webpage exclusively for applications to Kuaigu Inn and its campsite), and filling in the mountain lodge application form as ""modify"" or ""cancel"", and the amount of refund will be calculated taking first day of the stay period as the starting date. This is described as follows:
The standard for calculated the starting date - a single day of accommodation, starting from the day of stay; multiple day accommodation, starting from the first day of the stay period. If 4/1 (April 1st) were calculated as the starting day, fees charged for 3/25, 3/26, 3/27, and 3/28 could be refunded by 50% while those for 3/29, 3/30 and 3/31 would not be refundable.

(I) Refunds for Reservation Cancellations:
1.        For those reservation cancellations where the form has been successfully sent eight days before starting date, full refund of amounts paid will be made.
2.        For those reservation cancellations made successfully four to seven days before starting date, 50% of amounts paid will be refunded.
3.        For those bed allocation reservation cancellations made within 3 days before the starting date and for those who fail to arrive on the date of bed reservation, no refund of amounts paid will be made.

(II) Refunds for Reductions to Bed Reservations:
1.    Refund calculation methods for eight days before starting date:
Mountain lodge: Single person fee amount × reduction in number of people = refund amount
Campsite: No refund given
2.      Refund calculation methods for four to seven days before starting date:
Mountain lodge: Single person fee amount × reduction in number of people × 50% = refund Amount
  Campsite: No refund given
3.      Refund calculation for those reductions to bed allocations carried out within three days before starting date; no refund of amounts paid.

(III) In cases where the Central Weather Bureau has issued heavy rain or typhoon warnings, or there are unavoidable factors such as earthquakes resulting to road closures, where public announcements of such road closures are made, the Office will take the initiative to refund the full amount, but applications for extension or arranging alternative day/s of accommodation cannot be made.

V.  Teams that have completed application to reserve accommodation, should transfer the designated account in accordance with fee standards, and should present their mountain entry permits at check-in as well as identity documents that include a photograph, for the mountain lodge management personnel accepting reservation to check information.
